A conversation with a colleague led me to a Neuro-muscular therapist in New Jersey named Savitri. It is because of this amazing woman and her intuitive abilities that I am now a therapist. She used integrated work on me – the likes of which I had never experienced. After a few sessions and a dietary and supplement regime, I was living a physically pain free life. My physical rehabilitation involved gentle exercise and yoga, but of course being addicted to my own adrenaline from a 20 year dance career, meant that I needed to move – to music. After a yoga class one day at a local studio in Park Slope, I stayed behind to watch a Belly Dance Class being conducted by a most beautiful and serene woman from Turkey named Yildiz Dinler. I have never seen anyone move with such quiet confidence, grace, precision and sensuality. I was hooked. I realized after the first class that I had no concept of what Belly Dance entailed. I started taking regular classes and the mobility in my spine started to come back. I was on the road to some kind of physical equilibrium. What’s more I got to wear a “jingly skirt” or a hip scarf with coins. I was back in business.

Fast forward five years to Houston TX. A new career and a new environment but an old pain re-emerges. I was directed to Dr. Patrick Price, an intuitive chiropractor whose treatment redirected me to wellness. Patrick offered me an internship at his practice while I was qualifying for the Texas state board massage therapy license.

Fast forward four years to a private practice of spreading the word on Self-Care, Well-being, Preventive Health, Womb-Wisdom and simply living well.
